Nursery Aims and Objectives
It is our aim to provide a safe, secure, happy and stimulating environment for children aged from 3 months to 5 years of age.
Whilst in our care children are able to participate in a wide variety of learning experiences that enable them to develop the skills needed for them to become more independent, with a positive self image and an understanding of their fellow beings, regardless of colour, creed, religion or gender.
Our main aims and objectives are:-
- To create a stimulating, caring, happy and safe environment for ALL children in our care.
- To actively promote the development of positive self image with the children.
- To work as partners with parents/carers in an open and honest way.
- To have an involvement with the local community and to teach the children to respect their surroundings and local environment.
- To ensure a high level of Individual attention and quality care provided by qualified, dedicated staff and small group sizes.
- To take account of the children's individual needs arising from race, culture, language and religion.
- To encourage equal opportunities for all children and adults involved with the nursery.
- To support staff on training courses enabling them to develop skills and confidence in all areas of their job.
- To maintain a safe and healthy environment for all children and adults within the nursery.
- To maintain safe working procedures amongst staff and children.
- To develop and maintain strong links with other agencies and for them to recognise our professionalism.
- To encourage the participation of parents/carers in all aspects of their child's education.
