Nursery Facilities
Playways is situated in a converted 3 storey house in Amherst Road, Ealing. To guarantee safety we have an entry system on the front door that can only be used by staff and existing nursery parents. We also have security cameras on the front door and in the entrance hall.
On entry to the nursery you will notice our large entrance hall, we are very happy for parents to store pushchairs here during the day but request that they are folded for storage. From the entrance hall there are stairs leading up to the second and third floor of the nursery and then there is a door leading into the main nursery area.
The main nursery area is divided into rooms which are used for our older children (aged two to five years) and a baby room, including nappy changing room/laundry area and sleep room.
To the rear of the nursery we have a purpose built garden featuring sand pit, climbing frame, swings, balance bars and a play house. The garden is fitted with a rubber safety surfacing to prevent injury to children in the event of a fall. The garden is very secure with padlocked gates to either side.
On the second floor of the nursery we have a purpose built kitchen in which all the children's food and bottles are prepared. On this floor you will also find the nursery office, and staff room and facilities.
There is a third floor to the nursery but this is used as private residential space for exclusive use to the nursery owners and their family.
